We will be having pizza on Monday, May 21 (Thanks to Meghana's family).  Also don't forget to bring in your supplies for the ice cream treats!

Also, Monday at 4:00 is out bowling field trip to Bowling IQ.

Due to poor response we will not be having the parent presentation night.  

Please do not forget to turn in your bowling slips.  They are due Monday.

We will have our end of the year party on Monday, May 21.  If you are interested in bring in an item please let me know.

Information will be coming home on Monday, April 16 about the UCS 24 Tournament.  Please talk to you child about if they are interested in this opportunity.  I will the permission slips back by Friday, April 20.
I still need a couple of parents to return cans.  Please let me know if you can help.

In the Knowledge Masters Open 281 schools competed, Messmore placed 132.  Out of the 13 Michigan schools that competed Messmore placed 8.  Out of the 4 Utice Schools that competed Messmore placed 2nd. The complete Knowledge Masters Open results have been posted on their website www.greatauk.com.

We competed in our last Knowledge Masters Open yesterday.  I am very impressed with the score the students obtained.  The results will be posted on www.greatauk.com on Friday.

We will be starting our annual can and bottle drive next week.  We are not doing "Battle of the Cans" this year.  We are going to have bins in the lobby and send a note home asking families for donations.  I will need some volunteers to help return the cans.

We do not need any help Monday after school for the bagel sale.  Thank you to everyone that volunteered.  Don't forget your outlines for your presentations are due on March 12.  We will be working on them in ATOM on Monday.  Have a great weekend.

I received the "official" results for the Knowledge Master Open today.  I may have looked at last years scores or something, but the information on my 1/26/12 post is incorrect.  Messmore cane in 5 place in the state of Michigan (out of 8 teams).  The teams that beat us were middle schools.  We came in 1st place out of the Utica schools (there were 4).  I will send home a copy of the scores.

Knowledge Masters results were posted today.  Messmore ranked 6th in the state of Michigan (every school beating us was a middle school) and 1st in Utica!  Congrats, you all did a great job.  For complete results log onto www.greatauk.com.

Information is being sent home today with all ATOM students.  This information included a overview of what we we will be doing for the remainder of the school year.

Shirt orders are due on Monday.  Shirts are $12 or $16 if you want your name on the back.

Thank you to everyone that was able to attend the parents meeting last night.  If you were not able to attend I will be sending the information packet home with your child today.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  


Don't forget about Trick-or-Treat for Unicef and the candy collection for Military Moms of Macomb start next week.

Parent meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 28 @ 6:00pm.


UNICEF boxes will be handed out to teachers the week of 10/24.  All UNICEF boxes need to be returned to school by Monday, November 7. If you did not receive a UNICEF box please see Mrs. Cocco. 


We are also collecting candy for the Military Moms of Macomb to send to family members overseas.  We will begin candy collection on Wednesday, November 2 and conclude on Friday, November 4.  The class that donated the most pounds of candy will win a prize.
